the 3m scotch tape process

ok so i have this playlist on spotify... and it's called 3m scotch tape. a friend of mine confused by this needed clarification. this is what i told her....

1. i developed a huge crush on james mcavoy (and this also coincided with finding a photo of him as a fifteen year old)

2. this crush coincided with me getting back into nsync and obscure 2000s boy bands

3. these bands tend to create similar sounding songs that all kind of have this strange sexy type beat and guitar

4. i had enough of randomly picking them so i put them into a playlist called “mmm”

5. i was vibing to it with my friend  and she said you should call it 3m to shorten it and because we tend to be pretty in sync (nsync)with our thoughts we both went “3m scotchtape??”

6. and to make it really go full circle, i realised with the name being scotch tape, it’s pretty ironic because james mcavoy is scottish.

therefore, 3m scotchtape is an ode to 15yr old james mcavoy.
